Hi Allana and Scott, I have been waiting for your stories on the gorillas and finally they are here. I laughed and cried as I read your stories. Very moving. Thank you for letting us share your experience- it is very kind of you. I had a chuckle at the wide smile on your face in the pictures = you were beaming as was expected. How very special to have the silverback come up to Scott and put him in his place. Luckily he didn't feel threatened by Scott....Absolutely fantastic. Just loving your stories and feel like we are there (almost). Take care. Kathy xxx

Thanks Kathy! It's so nice to see these lovely comments from you, scott and I really appreciate it! We still have a lot more writing to go, especially on our last two gorilla treks- hopefully we'll finish them in the next few days. Love and best wishes to you and the Fam! Xox Allana

Hi Allana and Scott. I know I have not met you Scott - sometimes I feel like I'm intruding when I read your stories, but I am so glad you two are creating these posts. I feel very lucky to be able to read them. You both are great story tellers and the photos are wonderful. I'm actually learning heaps. I've been laughing and crying - I lost it when you visited the gorilla cemetery. Kath and I let each other know when you've got new posts up, so can't wait for the next one. Stay safe love Jo x

Hi Jo, thanks for your beautiful message! We're both very happy you are enjoying the blog. Hopefully it will be even better when I come home and we can chat about everything in person over a coffee with Kath! Don't worry, I lost it a bit at the gorilla cemetery too. Love Al
